Atlas OT LLC is seeking a Principal Controls Engineer to lead the technical direction for integrated automation and OT solutions across energy, manufacturing, food & beverage, and more. You will define standards, mentor teams, and drive multi-site programs with a focus on reliability, safety, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 10+ years and 20,000 project hours.
• Experience mentoring engineers and building a knowledge-sharing culture.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final technical authority on complex programs across multi-platform environments.
• Establish, approve, and govern global code libraries and IEC 61131-3 standards.
• Architect secure OT network designs meeting IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
• Set engineering quality standards; lead process control, alarm rationalization, and safety system optimization.
• Partner with Sales and Project Management to estimate project hours and BOMs.
• Mentor engineers and reinforce Atlas OT standards and values.
• Design and consult on cross-industry automation solutions and act as an industry authority.
