Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent - Industrial in Washington.

You will direct on-site workflow, lead safety programs, and ensure adherence to schedule and quality standards across all trades on the project. The role requires 8–10 years of commercial construction experience, a four‑year degree preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with the project manager, subcontractors, and site staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in construction, engineering, or business; degree not required with equivalent experience
• 8–10 years of commercial construction experience
• Experience with tenant renovations, occupied spaces, and fast-paced projects is a plus
• Mastery of building processes and best practices
• Ability to organize resources (people, tools, time) to meet deadlines
• Project lead or superintendent experience preferred
• Familiarity with ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong ability to communicate project priorities to site staff and subcontractors

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety for the project and manage a safe jobsite
• Maintain quality standards across all project aspects
• Lead site team and manage relationships with subcontractors
• Maintain daily activity logs and manage punch list and closeout
• Coordinate scheduling with the project manager and ensure installation sequencing
• Manage subcontractor scopes to prevent unnecessary change orders
• Organize site facilities, utilities, and long-lead items
• Collaborate with project manager and site operations throughout the project life cycle
