Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent for industrial projects in the Washington, DC area. You will direct on-site workflow, enforce safety standards, and serve as the primary site leader coordinating subcontractors and project staff to meet schedule and quality goals.

You’ll collaborate with the project manager to develop schedules, manage resources, and document daily activities while upholding HITT’s commitments to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 5+ years in commercial construction with GC/tenant renovations.
• Knowledge of project management software and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety and enforce HITT safety program.
• Maintain quality standards across all project aspects.
• Develop and manage project schedule with team.
• Coordinate site team and subcontractors for timely work.
• Maintain daily logs and closeout documentation.
