Caliberr Staffing seeks a Senior Industrial Automation Specialist to act as a technical authority, optimizing complex production systems and mentoring staff to maintain peak facility output.

You will lead large-scale equipment overhauls, drive maintenance excellence, and deliver hands-on training for engineering personnel across multiple facility locations. The role requires SME capabilities, project leadership, and a strong data-driven approach to gain reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial automation or high-volume manufacturing.
• 2+ years in project management or team leadership.
• Demonstrated SME on complex production machinery.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
• Travel up to 75% to support multiple facility locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority to drive operational excellence and reliability of production systems.
• Lead diagnostic evaluations to identify wear and optimize performance.
• Perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and extend system longevity.
• Lead teams in annual machine rebuilds and major overhauls.
• Provide expert guidance to plant maintenance teams on complex production challenges.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training modules for engineering personnel.
• Assess staff skills through evaluations and coaching.
• Contribute to strategic facility maintenance planning and long-term process improvements.
