Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum division seeks a lead automation engineer to drive industrial automation across pharmacy fulfillment centers. You will design, develop, and support automation solutions, including PACs/PLCs, robotics, SCADA, and vision systems, to maximize uptime and performance in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience designing and implementing industrial automation and robotics solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and support of automation systems from concept to sustainment.
Provide day-to-day production automation support ensuring high availability.
Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions; perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with IT, OT, Operations, and Maintenance to identify opportunities.
Program PACs/PLCs, robotics, SCADA, vision systems; monitor performance and optimize.
