Job summary

Cerence AI is seeking a Senior Technical Solution Architect to lead end-to-end Industry4.0 and Industrial AI solution architectures for manufacturing environments. You will connect frontline workers, assets, and enterprise systems through Voice AI, digital twins, and OT/IT integrations.

Lead technical discussions with customers and partners, shape platform roadmaps, and drive deployments across cloud, edge gateways, and embedded environments. Remote/hybrid options may apply depending on position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Industrial AI, IIoT, Digital Twins, or Smart Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Industry4.0 architectures, connected factories, and OT/IT convergence.
• Experience designing solutions connecting frontline workers, processes, assets, and enterprise systems.
• Proven experience with Digital Twin platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse or Azure Digital Twins.
• Experience deploying and integrating Small Language Models (SLMs) in edge and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Industrial AI Architecture: Design scalable end-to-end architectures integrating Voice AI, SLMs into enterprise manufacturing systems.
• Enterprise & Factory Integration: Architect integrations with MES, ERP, PLM, WMS, CMMS, SCADA, and PLC environments.
• Connected Worker Solutions: Create architectures spanning mobile devices, rugged tablets, wearables, HMIs, industrial control panels, and factory-floor workflows.
• Edge AI & SLM Strategy: Define approaches for deploying SLMs and AI workloads across cloud, edge gateways, industrial PCs, and embedded environments.
• Technical Leadership: Provide architecture governance, technical guidance, and solution leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure solutions meet industrial safety, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
