Job summary

Future Electronics is seeking a Senior Edge AI Field Applications Engineer to provide expert technical leadership across Edge AI architectures and embedded systems. You will guide customers from concept to production, helping with hardware selection, model implementation, and optimization.

Join our Advanced Engineering Group to accelerate adoption of Edge AI technologies, deliver demonstrations, and train teams while collaborating with suppliers and customers across regional markets.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 5–10 years of electronics industry experience.
• Strong background in Edge AI design, model creation, deployment, optimization, and embedded AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with neural networks, edge inference, AI accelerators, vision processing, and power/performance optimization.
• Experience with Edge AI processors, development tools, software frameworks, and deployment ecosystems is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Strong understanding of embedded electronics and electronic distribution environments.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive technical strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for Edge AI system design, AI model development, and deployment.
• Partner with suppliers and customers to deliver high-value technical solutions and support qualified opportunities.
• Support hardware selection, AI model optimization, benchmarking, and real-time edge inference implementation.
• Conduct training sessions on Edge AI technologies, tools, and development frameworks.
• Assist in developing Edge AI demonstration platforms and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Build strong relationships with supplier and customer engineering teams.
• Represent Future Electronics in customer-facing technical and sales activities.
• Stay current with emerging Edge AI technologies, products, and industry trends.
• Prioritize technical opportunities to maximize business impact and customer success.
