Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Tax to lead U.S. indirect tax compliance, reporting, audit, and advisory activities focused on sales and use tax.

The role partners with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Operations, and Project Management to deliver practical tax guidance and process improvements throughout project lifecycles. The position supports remote or hybrid work arrangements with regular in-office presence in designated U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, taxation, business, or related field.
• Significant 15+ years of progressive U.S. sales and use tax experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering, EPC, infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. sales and use tax compliance, returns, payments, and reporting.
• Oversee preparation and review of returns; ensure timely filings.
• Lead taxability reviews across jurisdictions and document positions.
• Provide tax guidance to procurement, accounts payable, operations, and project teams.
• Develop and maintain tax policy, exemptions, and certificate management.
• Partner with tax director on audits and risk management.
• Support tax technology and process improvements.
