Job summary

Vizient is seeking a senior Indirect Spend lead to manage complex consulting engagements across clients’ systems of care. You will oversee a substantial portfolio, guide project teams, and apply data-driven insights to deliver measurable value.

You will build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, identify cross-sell opportunities, and contribute to growing Indirect Spend services. Occasional travel is required as needed by clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Indirect Spend, sourcing, procurement or consulting.
• Experience leading complex client engagements and managing a portfolio of projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights.
• Ability to communicate with senior executives and influence decisions.
• Experience developing business opportunities through cross-sell and upsell.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams within Indirect Spend to drive client value and meet objectives.
• Apply data-driven insights to test hypotheses and develop recommendations.
• Guide analyses using client knowledge and industry experience.
• Plan and lead execution of complex projects and programs.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and profitability across a large portfolio.
• Deliver influential communications to senior executive audiences.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, including key relationships.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities by translating client needs into consulting work.
• Advance the Indirect Spend practice with new or enhanced services.
