Shield AI is seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join the Supply Chain team. You will manage indirect procurement across facilities, IT, software, and equipment, partnering with engineers, operations, and finance to align with cost, schedule, and quality goals.

This full-time role emphasizes negotiation, process improvement, and strong stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing focusing on indirect categories.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint preferred).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage POs for indirect spend, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Partner with engineers, operations, facilities, and IT to source goods meeting cost and quality.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers to meet budget.
• Maintain ERP records, supplier data, PO tracking, and delivery schedules.
• Support supplier qualification and onboarding for indirect vendors.
• Forecast indirect procurement needs and identify process or cost improvements.
• Reconcile invoices with finance and ensure timely payments.
• Help implement standard work for indirect procurement processes.
