Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in incident management or related IT roles, incl. major incidents in large environments.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and incident governance.
• Experience with incident management tools and ITSM platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief senior leadership.
• Lead multiple incidents and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• W ar-Room facilitation and incident bridge management.
• Ensure playbooks, escalation matrices, and templates are current.
• Engage infra, app, identity, cloud dependencies to restore service.
• Translate technical risk into business terms for leadership.
• Coordinate with Problem, Change, Release, SOC/Cyber IR as needed.
• Run drills and maintain on-call readiness across shifts.
• Mentor coordinators and junior IM staff on escalation and analysis.
• Document timelines and key decisions for compliance and audit.
