Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a senior Technical Program Manager to own and evolve the D&R incident management lifecycle, from detection to post-incident review. You will drive cross-functional improvements, act as incident commander for security events, and lead rotations and KPI tracking to improve overall security posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, incident management, or security operations.
• Led or built incident response programs at a technology company, ideally in a high-growth or security-intensive environment.
• Demonstrated ability to turn incident data into organizational improvements and drive cross-functional work.
• Comfortable participating in on-call responsibilities and leading incident response during high-severity security events.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end D&R incident management program: detection workflows, response processes, escalation paths, communication standards, and remediation tracking.
• Serve as incident commander for security incidents, coordinating across executive, engineering, security, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and run incident commander rotations within D&R to handle incidents of varying severity.
• Drive post-incident accountability by defining action items, tracking, and ensuring follow-through on fixes and improvements.
• Gather, analyze, and report incident trends to surface systemic risks and root causes.
• Translate trend analysis into cross-functional initiatives with engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams.
• Lead incident review forums and ensure learnings are socialized across the organization.
• Develop and maintain D&R incident response documentation, playbooks, runbooks, and training materials.
• Partner with detection engineering to improve alert fidelity and reduce noise.
• Define, develop, and track incident management KPIs and report to D&R and Security leadership.
• Support cross-functional training to uplevel security awareness (e.g., tabletop exercises, talks).
