Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Customs Operations Specialist in Mount Pleasant, PA to manage inbound import operations for the US market.

You will establish procedures, verify HS/HTS classifications, and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure on-time cargo release. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with Section 232 trade requirements, preparing SAP GTS instructions, and generating KPI reports.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of customs laws, HS codes, Incoterms, and trade compliance.
• 5+ years in international inbound customs operations.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, GTS, and TM modules.
• CCS or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead inbound customs operations for US shipments, ensuring compliant documentation.
• Review import docs for compliance with customs laws and Section 232.
• Coordinate with brokers to prepare entries and release cargo.
• Verify HS/HTS classifications and required trade data.
• Prepare SAP GTS customs instructions and support audits.
