Job summary

Incyte seeks a Senior Research Scientist to lead a high-throughput robotics and mass spectrometry lab supporting weekly drug metabolism and ADME assays. You will develop LC-MS/MS methods for HT assays, train staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualified candidates have PhD or a master’s with 10+ years in HT metabolism/ADME or biochemistry, with strong HT-MS experience and robotic automation skills. On-site role in Delaware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 10+ years in HT drug metabolism/ADME.
• PhD with 3+ years in HT metabolism/ADME or biochemistry.
• Experience with HT-MS platforms such as Agilent Rapid Fire and/or Sciex Echo.
• Experience with liquid handling robots (Hamilton or Tecan), able to program them.
• Ability to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently miniaturize end-to-end robotics workflow for weekly screening ADME assays using HT-MS instruments.
• Develop, validate, and apply LC-MS/MS methods for high-throughput drug metabolism/ADME assays.
• Train staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Perform routine lab tasks and maintain equipment.
• Archive data in ELN and prepare summary reports.
