Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Senior Design Consultant to work in-store in Atlanta, GA. You will meet customers, determine design needs, and craft tailored design plans for tile, wood, stone, and installation products.

Responsibilities include driving appointments, managing the sales cycle, and using SketchUp and CRM tools to support design and follow-up. The role requires weekend hours and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred.
• Minimum of three years interior design experience or equivalent.
• Prior consultative sales experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Excellent customer service, communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments and meet with customers in-store to determine design needs.
• Develop design plan and maintain high-level customer contact throughout the sale cycle.
• Drive sales by engaging store traffic and providing exceptional service.
• Sell tile, wood, stone, installation materials and related products to fit customer style and budget.
• Utilize design tools and CRM to support the sales process and follow-ups.
