Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking an experienced attorney knowledgeable in complex commercial litigation to manage all aspects of litigation. The candidate should possess a J.D. degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, including the ability to interact with executives on litigation strategy.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of complex commercial litigation experience; prior in-house litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a fluid environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of litigation, including directing outside counsel.
• Coordinating responses to discovery requests, including e-discovery.
• Establishing and overseeing the operation of the company’s case management systems.
• Providing and ensuring legal risk management for the company.
