Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Attorney with 10+ years of litigation experience.
• Leadership, management, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise litigation and manage discovery in state and federal cases.
• Collaborate with outside counsel to develop litigation strategies including bad faith and class actions.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and testimony; assist in trial preparation.
• Attend trials and provide trial reports to Law Department management and colleagues.
• Develop and manage budgets for litigation matters and related projects.
• Provide legal advice to State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company and affiliates.
• Identify a bench of outside counsel across jurisdictions in the United States.
