Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC seeks an Associate General Counsel, Litigation to lead MBUSA’s litigation and disputes function, serving as the senior legal adviser on significant matters including investigations and pre-litigation disputes. The role directs strategy, staffing, discovery, witness preparation, and coordination with outside counsel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible legal experience, including substantial in-house or equivalent business-facing experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead MBUSA’s litigation and disputes function and senior legal advisor for significant litigation and investigations.
• Direct strategy, staffing, discovery, witness preparation, outside counsel, and resolution of high-impact matters.
• Advise the General Counsel and senior management regarding material litigation exposure, reserves, trends, and business implications.
• Lead and develop attorneys and legal professionals assigned to Litigation and manage outside counsel.
