Mercedes-Benz Corporation in the United States seeks an experienced corporate attorney to resolve complex legal issues affecting the company and its subsidiaries. The role centers on drafting, negotiating, and interpreting contracts across diverse commercial matters.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of top-tier law firm and corporate experience, admission to the Georgia State Bar, and a strong ability to advise across a broad range of corporate issues with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a Juris Doctor degree.
• Years of Experience Needed: 7-10 years of a combination of top tier law firm experience and general corporate legal experience.
• Licenses/Certifications required: Admission to State Bar, preferably Georgia.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, draft, and analyze contracts and contract terms related to a variety of matters to protect Mercedes-Benz's interests, and ensure rights are protected through negotiating and drafting agreements.
• Provide legal support with respect to complex business transactions including contract interpretation, attending and leading meetings, drafting and responding to key communications, issue resolution and dispute management.
• Provide practical legal advice and support to the business on a broad range of general corporate matters, including identifying and assessing legal risks, advising on applicable legal requirements and internal policies, and assisting with day‑to‑day issues.
• Perform other legal duties and responsibilities as assigned or as necessary to meet evolving business and Legal Department needs.
