Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to state or DC bar.
• 10+ years of litigation experience; product liability preferred.
• Experience with insured litigation and claims disputes; firearms industry experience preferred.
• Ability to organize, analyze complex information from multiple sources.
• Sound ethical judgment aligned with business objectives.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365.
• Collaborative; able to build partnerships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strategic thinking and critical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Company’s litigation, including liability and contractual disputes.
• Prepare periodic reporting summarizing the litigation portfolio.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, and significant hearings.
• Oversee litigation/regulatory compliance programs with data-driven insights.
• Develop litigation strategy for workouts or special situations.
• Assist in designing and overseeing regulatory compliance program.
• Design and implement processes/tools with Legal department.
• Assist with due diligence and related workstreams.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Periodic travel may be required.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement projects and 5S standards.
• Follow Safety and ISO procedures.
