Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Senior Litigation Counsel for our Pasadena office to transition from law firm practice into a strategic in-house role handling product liability, catastrophic injury, and high-exposure matters with major manufacturers and national clients.

You will oversee outside counsel, shape litigation strategy, assess risk, and guide complex claims to resolution while enjoying a flexible hybrid schedule and ongoing career growth within a collaborative legal team.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission.
• Approximately 4-8 years of litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex product liability, catastrophic injury, and tort litigation matters.
• Direct and manage outside counsel throughout all phases of litigation.
• Evaluate liability exposure, damages, reserve recommendations, and settlement opportunities.
• Develop litigation, negotiation, and resolution strategies.
• Analyze legal, factual, technical, and coverage-related issues.
• Collaborate with experts, investigators, claims professionals, and business stakeholders.
• Attend mediations, arbitrations, depositions, inspections, settlement conferences, and trials as necessary.
• Provide strategic guidance on high-exposure and high-risk claims.
• Support the development and mentoring of legal and claims professionals.
