Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Litigation to lead the company’s active litigation and regulatory matters.

The role collaborates with in-house teams across engineering, manufacturing, finance, HR, sales, and leadership to minimize risk while advancing business objectives. The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited school and 10+ years of litigation experience, including product liability and insured disputes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Admitted to and in good standing with any state bar or DC bar.
• 10+ years of litigation experience, including product liability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Company’s litigation, including liability claims and disputes.
• Prepare periodic reporting on the litigation portfolio status.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, hearings and trials as needed.
• Oversee compliance programs and regulatory risk.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive risk-informed decisions.
• Travel may be required.
