Epiq Counsel, a prominent financial services organization, seeks experienced litigation attorneys to join its in-house team in Phoenix. You will influence litigation strategy, manage complex disputes, and collaborate with business leaders on high-stakes matters.

The role blends hands-on litigation with strategic oversight of outside counsel, demanding strong judgment, courtroom experience, and the ability to navigate risk across a diverse portfolio. Hybrid work involves 2–3 days onsite weekly.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 6+ years of litigation experience.
• Demonstrated trial experience, including personally handling cases through trial.
• Strong legal judgment and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sophisticated litigation matters.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies that align with business objectives.
• Evaluate risk, exposure, and resolution opportunities across active matters.
• Direct and partner with outside counsel on significant cases.
• Assess trial readiness, settlement strategy, and case performance.
• Advise senior business and legal leaders on litigation-related issues.
• Help drive consistent, efficient, and high-quality litigation outcomes.
• Join a collaborative team in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days onsite each week at a Phoenix-area office and the remainder worked remotely.
