The candidate will support structuring, negotiation, and closing of financings, maintain IRS compliance knowledge, and collaborate with tax, finance, and development teams.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• Member in good standing of a US State Bar.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in U.S. renewable energy project finance, at a top-tier law firm or in-house.
• Familiar with project development contracts (PPA, EPC, O&M) and related real estate and permitting matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for structuring, negotiating, and managing renewable energy financings.
• Draft and negotiate project financing documents (credit agreements, tax equity, security documents).
• Support tax credit monetization structures and related agreements.
• Advise on federal income tax rules and IRS guidance for renewable energy tax credits.
• Manage due diligence, closing, and post-closing financing matters.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisers to ensure compliance.
