For our Energy business unit, we are looking for an In-House Counsel to join Ferrovial Energy's Legal Department, reporting to the Head of Legal U.S. This role will provide comprehensive legal support for the development, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of utility-scale renewable energy projects in the U.S.,
The position will be based in Austin, Texas.
The following outlines the general experience, qualifications and skills expected for the ideal candidate. However, candidates from other Ferrovial's business units with transactional experience in Project Development and/or Project Finance in other infrastructure sectors (such as transportation, airports, or construction), as well as corporate or commercial law attorneys interested in transitioning into this role, are strongly encouraged to apply. We also welcome candidates admitted to practice in jurisdictions outside the U.S .
Education and required experience: Juris Doctorate.
Member in good standing of a US State Bar.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the renewable or conventional energy industry, gained at a top tier law firm and/or legal department of a renewable energy company or independent power producer.
