Epic is seeking an experienced In-House Attorney to join our litigation-focused team in Madison, WI. The role centers on managing litigation and regulatory matters, and providing counsel on risk and competitive strategy within healthcare and information tech sectors.

The ideal candidate holds a JD and 3–7 years of hands-on litigation including motions/briefs, oral arguments, and settlement negotiations. Relocation to Madison and vaccination are required.

Qualifications

• JD degree required; 3–7 years of litigation experience including drafting motions/briefs.
• Experience in drafting motions/briefs, conducting oral arguments, and leading settlement negotiations.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI; COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation and regulatory matters for Epic.
• Provide counsel on risk management and competitive strategy.
• Draft legal motions and briefs.
• Lead settlement negotiations and represent the company in trial proceedings.
