Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations/Activations Network Engineer at Hill AFB, UT, to oversee installation, testing, and activation of DoD networks. You will interact with customers, solution architects, and vendors to implement changes and ensure compliant activation of services.

Requires 8–12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 6–10 years, plus a BS degree. Active Secret clearance and DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification are required. Pay range listed as $92,300–$166,850.

Qualifications

• Proven network engineering experience with DoD/DISA environments.
• Active Secret clearance and DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification.
• Knowledge of BGP/ISIS, VLANs, and network device configurations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT/ITSA activities, IT&A, and data input for new activations.
• Work with customers, solution architects and SMEs to implement changes.
• Manage Service Orders and ensure TSOs are in place for changes.
• Configure network devices using provided configlets and scripts.
• Analyze DISN data to validate customer requirements and deliver solutions.
• Design and test solutions to complex network problems with documentation.
• Coordinate circuit activation with vendors to establish end‑to‑end connectivity.
• Monitor deployed changes for traffic impact and report findings.
• Engage with project managers and customers to resolve unclear requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder approvals to progress service requests.
