Job summary

Leidos seeks an Implementations/Activations Network Engineer for Hill AFB, UT to oversee installation, configuration, testing, monitoring, and activation of networks for DISA projects. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

You will coordinate with customers, solution architects and vendor SMEs, manage service orders, configure devices with configlets, analyze DISN data, and ensure changes meet DISA standards while engaging stakeholders to move requests forward.

Qualifications

• Requires active Secret clearance.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Experience with DISA processes and network activations.
• Experience with BGP/OSPF, VPN, VLANs, and network appliances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ITA and activation of networks per DISA standards.
• Work with customers, solution architects and vendors to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Manage Service Orders and TSOs under Change Management.
• Ensure TSOs are in place for scheduled network additions/changes.
• Configure network devices using configlets.
• Analyze DISN data to validate customer requirements and deployments.
• Design and implement solutions for complex network problems through testing and documentation.
• Coordinate customer circuit activations with vendors for end-to-end connectivity.
• Monitor network changes to assess impact on traffic and performance.
• Engage project managers and stakeholders to secure approvals and drive progress.
