Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations/Activations Network Engineer at Hill AFB, UT to oversee installation, testing, and activation of DISN networks for DoD customers. The role requires coordinating with customers, architects, and SMEs to implement network changes and ensure service activations meet DISA standards.

Requires BS degree with 4–8 years of experience or MS with 2–6 years, active Secret clearance, and familiarity with BGP/ISIS, VLANs, VPN, OSPF, and other DoD network protocols.

Qualifications

• BS degree plus 4–8 years of relevant experience or MS with 2–6 years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Experience with DISA or DoD networks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation oversight, configuration, testing and activation of networks.
• Coordinate with customers, solution architects and SMEs to implement changes.
• Manage Service Orders and ensure TSOs are in place for activations.
• Configure network devices using configlets and verify against DISA standards.
• Analyze DISN data and validate customer requirements.
• Develop and document technical solutions for end-to-end connectivity.
• Monitor networks and assess impacts of changes on traffic.
• Engage with project managers and customers to resolve unclear requirements.
