Job summary

MetLife is seeking an implementation leader in Group Benefits to manage end-to-end setup for clients with 2–999 lives. You will coordinate timelines, gather information, resolve issues, and lead meetings with clients, producers, sales, and services to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include negotiating plan designs, creating compliant documents, maintaining strong communication among internal teams and customers, and serving as the liaison during conversions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience with high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
• Able to multi-task by balancing client facing interactions, tight deadlines, ad hoc issue resolutions, internal documentation requirements and overall client satisfaction.
• Ability to modify and develop procedures and policies to meet reporting needs/requirements.
• 1+ years of Insurance industry experience is preferred and/or possesses knowledge of contract language for life, accident, and disability products

Responsibilities

• Oversees case setup data and timely delivery to internal setup teams.
• Collaborates with Contracts/Compliance to produce compliant policies and certs.
• Explain products, services and workflows to customers for successful implementation.
• Supports post-sale activities for new set-ups and conversions.
• Run weekly check-ins; coordinate with units to ensure consistent implementations.
• May advise on plan design and admin processes for non-standard requests.
