Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Senior Laboratory Manager for its GCI Ligand Binding Assay platforms (RIA, ELISA, Luminex, MSD, others) based in Swiftwater, PA. The role leads a team responsible for developing, validating, and deploying regulated bioanalytical assays for vaccine trials.

You will ensure data integrity, manage project timelines, oversee method development and validation, evaluate new technologies, and ensure compliance with GXP and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• PhD in Science with 4+ years industry experience OR MS with 6+ years OR BS with 9+ years in industry.
• Experience with ligand-binding assays such as ELISA, RIA, Luminex, MSD, Ortho VITROS, and automated platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee day-to-day operations of one or more laboratories/projects.
• Maintain laboratory resources (materials/reagents/equipment/facilities) to meet objectives.
• Support a quality and compliant testing environment (documentation, methods, training).
• Manage project timelines and allocate resources across trial phases.
• Lead teams and provide guidance on technical issues and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to quality, corporate, and safety guidelines.
