Job summary

ModernaTX, Inc. is seeking a Senior Research Associate in Cambridge, MA, to join Immuno-Oncology Research.

You will execute in vitro and in vivo experiments to characterize mRNA products, work with immune cell models, and contribute to translational research and early development programs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience and hands-on skills in flow cytometry, cell culture, and protein analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of hands-on bench experience in immuno-oncology or related field.
• Technical experience in cell transfection, long-term immune cell cultures, co-culture assays, and flow cytometry.
• Experience with protein detection methods such as MSD and ELISA.
• Familiarity with qPCR or ddPCR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Characterize Moderna’s mRNA products in vitro and in vivo supporting preclinical work.
• Perform immune cell isolation, culture, and functional assays.
• Analyze and present data in team and cross-functional settings.
