Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks an IT PACS Systems Administrator to lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of the PACS and enterprise imaging infrastructure. You will monitor system health, resolve complex issues, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with radiology teams to ensure uninterrupted access to imaging data.

Ideal candidates have a deep PACS architecture background, extensive database, virtualization, storage, and networking experience within healthcare imaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent in Medical Imaging, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
• Three years of experience in PACS administration including implementation and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete administration of PACS and related imaging infrastructure.
• Lead implementation, configuration, and maintenance of PACS software and hardware components.
• Contribute to incident resolution and documentation in production environments.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinicians to optimize PACS use.
• Monitor and optimize PACS performance for uninterrupted access to imaging data.
• Provide advanced technical support and training to end-users.
