Slack is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build identity and access controls that protect Slack's infrastructure and the agents operating within it. You will ship features that govern how humans and AI agents authenticate and access systems, with cloud platform experience essential.

You will work on identity and access management services on AWS and Kubernetes, contribute to secure software practices, and collaborate across Identity, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or Go and production backend experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience, deploying and operating services.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and APIs.
• Solid security fundamentals and secure SDLC practices.
• Excellent verbal communication for technical tradeoffs.
• Clear, durable documentation for multiple readers.

Responsabilités

• Design and build identity and access management services on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Extend agentic identity controls for AI agents and human users.
• Build automation to remove manual steps in access management.
• Collaborate with Identity, Security, and Infrastructure teams on shared APIs.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high quality.”
• Grow ownership of projects and systems with identity domain expertise.
