Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Slack's Identity Security team, building identity and access controls that protect Slack's infrastructure and AI agents. This hands-on software engineering role requires cloud platform experience, secure coding practices, and the ability to work across teams to design reliable services.

You will develop identity services on AWS and Kubernetes, extend controls for AI-enabled workflows, and design automation to reduce manual steps.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building and operating production backend systems.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, deploying and operating services in a cloud environment.
• Working knowledge of distributed systems concepts (APIs, service architecture, data stores).
• Solid understanding of security fundamentals and secure software development practices.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to write clear documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build identity and access management services on AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and monitoring (SLOs).
• Extend agentic identity controls for AI agents and human access within Slack systems.
• Build automation to remove manual steps from access management and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with Identity, Security, and Infrastructure teams on shared services and APIs.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high-quality code and robust designs.
• Grow ownership of projects and identity domain expertise.
