Job summary

Palyrian LLC is seeking Senior Identity Engineers to join a live-environment team. You will own end-to-end workstreams on client programs, lead architecture reviews, and design custom SailPoint solutions across IIQ and ISC.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud experience, including at least two full implementation or major upgrade cycles.
• 6+ years overall in identity and access management or enterprise software engineering.
• Strong Java and BeanShell for IIQ, and/or transforms, cloud rules, and REST API development for ISC; comfortable with SQL, XML, and another scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical portion of product health checks and platform architecture reviews: assess configuration, code quality, performance, and coverage.
• Contribute grounded input to future-state architecture and tool evaluations.
• Translate assessment findings into scoped, sequenced engineering plans.
• Own a workstream end to end on a client program, including scope, quality, and delivery.
• Design and build custom SailPoint IIQ and/or ISC solutions: connectors, workflows, rules, transforms, provisioning policies.
• Design localized pieces of a process with end-to-end events and approvals without architect input.
• Run App Factory delivery: define onboarding patterns, reusable templates, and automation.
• Integrate with enterprise systems through web services, JDBC, or other connectors.
• Review other engineers' app design and connector build-out; own testing strategy and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing, review, and feedback.
• Manage and improve access certification campaigns, reporting, and analytics.
• Drive configuration, tuning, and automation to reduce operational effort over time.
• Lead knowledge transfer so client teams can own more of their platform.
