Job summary

Palyrian LLC is seeking an IAM Solutions Architect to lead non-human identity research and architecture. You will design reference architectures, lifecycle controls, and enterprise-grade patterns across workloads, machine identities, and AI agents.

You will also drive SailPoint engagements and governing architecture across multiple identity classes. The role emphasizes breadth across identity domains, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable

Qualifications

• 8+ years in identity and access management, with meaningful time as a solutions architect, technical lead, or principal engineer in at least one identity domain.
• Depth in one or more: identity governance, privileged access, or identity provider and authentication platforms.
• Ability to walk into an enterprise and identify non-human identities and lifecycle controls.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to explain technical decisions to non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Discover and inventory the non-human identity estate across the enterprise.
• Define NHI reference architecture covering creation, ownership, credential management, rotation and decommissioning.
• Architect across workforce, customer, and non-human identities; cover workloads, machine identities, service accounts, API credentials, bots and AI agents.
• Map controls for AI agents, their lifecycles, and where controls reside.
• Produce artifacts for architecture review boards and cyber security reviews.
• Lead program assessments, vendor/tool evaluations, and governance model design.
• Support engagements with roadmap, architecture, and executive-level communication.
• Own solution architecture on NHI platform implementations and SailPoint engagements.
• Lead design sessions and proof of concepts; document decisions for engineering.
• Define integration patterns, data models, and non-functional requirements including security and performance.
