Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior ICT Design Engineer to lead ICT design strategy across global data center programs. You will mentor engineers, drive standardization, and coordinate with civil, electrical, architectural, and security teams to ensure scalable, cost-effective designs.

You will own complex, multi-site ICT design programs from concept through construction administration, champion emerging technologies, and influence AWS infrastructure architecture worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities (data centers, power, telecom).
• 5+ years ICT design experience in Mission Critical Environments.
• 5+ years producing design docs (plans, specs, QA/QC).
• 5+ years fiber optic components, cabling, interconnects (TIA/BICSI).
• Experience driving engineering standards and best practices.
• Experience leading cross-discipline design coordination.
• BICSI RCDD Certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable ICT designs across multiple builds and regions.
• Own ICT architecture for complex, large-scale data center programs.
• Drive development and improvement of ICT design standards, templates, and QA/QC checklists.
• Resolve cross-discipline coordination challenges across civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and security systems.
• Travel 25%+ to conduct site visits and design reviews.
