Job summary

Black Box is seeking a Lead Technician to serve as the technical expert and frontline leader for data centers and advanced facilities. This senior, hands-on role demands expertise in structured cabling, fiber optics, and ICT systems to set the standard for the team.

You will mentor Technicians I & II, oversee safety, quality, and production, and coordinate with clients to ensure exceptional service and compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex structured cabling projects in data centers or enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of TIA/BICSI standards and low voltage systems.
• Ability to mentor Technicians I & II and drive on-site safety and quality.
• Proven troubleshooting of high-stakes ICT infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead cabling activities, troubleshooting, and QA/QC.
• Mentor and guide Technicians I & II with a focus on workmanship and client service.
• Coordinate workflows to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Serve as field point of contact with the client and provide status updates.
