Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a senior Verification engineer with extensive ASIC verification experience to join our San Jose team. You will architect and develop scalable testbenches, define test plans, and drive functional coverage for Block/Core/SOC verification.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead verification strategy reviews with design teams, and work across teams to stress complex protocols like PCI Express. Competitive base salary plus bonus and equity offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent with ASIC verification background.
• 10+ years in complex verification environments and verification plans.
• Proficient in SystemVerilog and UVM/VMM.
• Experience with PCIe or similar multi-layered protocols.
• Strong debugging and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable testbench environments for ASIC verification.
• Drive test plans and write functional coverage for features.
• Create pseudo-random tests to achieve full functional coverage.
• Debug regression failures and close coverage gaps.
• Lead verification strategy documentation and reviews with design teams.
