Job summary

RES seeks an IC&S Generation Controls SME to design and oversee control systems for wind, solar and storage projects. The role covers PPC, EMS, HMIs, DCS, and SCADA across all project phases, ensuring compliance with ISO, PPAs, and grid requirements.

The engineer collaborates with Development, Construction, and Clients, guiding testing, commissioning, and documentation. Travel 5-15% to support projects in North America.

Qualifications

• AS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with additional experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 4+ years in IC&S or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale control systems and ISOs.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation controls design and QA/QC across renewables projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Ensure ISO/grid compliance and SCADA integration requirements.
• Provide SME guidance on HMI, EMS, PPC, DCS, and related systems.
