American Electric Power in Columbus, OH is seeking a Solution Engineer Staff to deliver high quality technology solutions for enterprise asset management. You will serve as SME for IBM Maximo, overseeing integrations, and designing software while collaborating with architects and DBAs.

This is an onsite role at 1 Riverside Plaza. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 8 years of development experience with IBM Maximo, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8 years of development experience with IBM Maximo.
• Deep SME understanding of IBM Maximo toolsets, capabilities, and limitations.
• Experience with IBM Maximo configurations, customization, and coding using XML, Java or Python.
• Experience managing Maximo environments using Migration Manager, Integration Framework, Automation Script, Cron, and PL/SQL/Oracle.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high quality technology solutions for enterprise asset management software applications.
• Serve as SME for IBM Maximo application suite and oversee solution programming and integrations to meet business requirements.
• Design, develop and install advanced software solutions while considering usage, architecture, functionality, and deployment.
• De-provision users and extract data for delivery to peer power and utility company.
• Oversee and mentor junior development staff on assignments, progress, use of vendor delivered toolsets and application capabilities.
