American Electric Power (AEP) in Columbus is seeking a Solution Engineer Staff to deliver high quality technology solutions for enterprise asset management software. You will serve as SME for IBM Maximo and oversee integrations to meet business needs on an onsite basis.

The role requires 8 years development experience with IBM Maximo and 5+ years of Maximo configurations, customization, and coding (XML, Java, Python). Collaboration with architects/DBAs is essential, plus mentoring junior staff.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8 years of development experience with IBM Maximo.
5+ years of IBM Maximo configurations, customization, and coding (XML, Java or Python).

Mansioni

Deliver high quality technology solutions for enterprise asset management software applications.
Serve as SME for IBM Maximo application suite and oversee solution programming and integrations to meet business requirements.
Design, develop and install advanced software solutions considering usage, architecture, functionality, and deployment.
De-provision users and extract data for delivery to peer power and utility company.
Work with architects and database administrators to confirm appropriate application configuration and programming to meet user and application requirements.
Oversee and mentor junior development staff on assignments, progress, use of vendor delivered toolsets and application capabilities.
