Job summary

CoSourcing Partners Inc. seeks a Senior IBM i (AS/400/iSeries) Application & Data Migration Specialist to lead the transition of a legacy NMIC400/Basys environment during a TPA migration.

The role requires deep IBM i expertise, RPG/RPGLE, CL, and DB2 for i, plus hands-on data migration and problem solving in a documentation-poor setting. You will become the technical authority, stabilize operations during migration, map and validate data, preserve critical business logic, and serve as the bridge

Qualifications

• Deep IBM i knowledge including RPG/RPGLE, CL, and DB2 for i.
• Proven experience with data migration and legacy modernization.
• Ability to reverse engineer undocumented applications and data structures.
• Comfort entering environments with incomplete documentation and limited institutional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Become the Technical Authority for the NMIC400/iSeries environment within 30–60 days.
• Stabilize legacy operations during the TPA transition and ensure continuity of batch processing and reporting.
• Identify, extract, map, and validate migration data with traceability to source systems.
• Preserve critical business logic, reports, and institutional knowledge for future-state operations.
• Serve as technical bridge between legacy IBM i and the new TPA platform during retirement.
