Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Senior Manager, Identity Platform Engineering to build and operate secure, automated IAM capabilities across hybrid cloud, SaaS, on‑premises, and AI-enabled systems. You will shape identity services that support developer self‑service, least privilege access, and policy governance.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, drive DevOps integration, and advance identity governance, authentication, and authorization with SSO, MFA, and modern federation technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IAM solutions.
• 4 years of people management experience with direct reports.
• Experience leading IAM, security engineering, platform engineering, cloud, infrastructure teams.
• Deep knowledge of RBAC, ABAC, policy-based access control, Just-in-Time, least privilege models.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and identity federation.
• Experience integrating IAM with enterprise apps, cloud services, SaaS platforms, and infrastructure.
• Experience delivering IAM as a platform with self-service and API-driven services.
• Automation experience with scripting, REST APIs, workflow automation.
• DevOps/platform engineering practices: CI/CD, IaC, policy-as-code, automated testing/deployment, observability.
• Cloud identity patterns: workload identities, secrets management, privileged access controls.
• Experience applying IAM controls to AI-enabled systems and machine identities.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development to improve identity engineering.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of Stellarus' identity platform by engineering secure, automated IAM capabilities.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable IAM services across hybrid cloud, SaaS, and on‑prem environments.
• Deliver programmatic, self‑service IAM for developers with least-privilege, time-bound access patterns.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed identity into modern software delivery, DevOps, and AI workflows.
