Job summary

JetBrains is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join an identity management team within the JetBrains Platform (JCP). You will own the entire SDLC, evolve services in Kotlin and Go, and implement features across identity, organization, membership, group, and workspace domains.

You will review PRs, coordinate with other platform teams, and manage integrations with platform components. A strong background in JVM/Kotlin, distributed SaaS, and DevOps tooling is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of JVM development experience, preferably with Kotlin.
• Experience solving performance problems on JVM and Postgres.
• Built and operated SaaS production services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment.
• Fluent in modern devops stack: Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, Grafana.
• Proven track record of taking over and improving existing production services.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire SDLC: codebase, architecture, and operations.
• Maintain and evolve services in Kotlin and Go for reliability and performance.
• Design and implement features across identity, organization, membership, group, and workspace domains.
• Review and integrate PRs from other platform teams.
• Manage integrations with other JCP platform components and apps.
