Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute across the full development lifecycle, focusing on identity and access management, microservices replatforming, and secure API design. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include backend service design, frontend touchpoints with Angular, and implementing secure authentication flows in a cloud-native environment on AWS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring/Spring Boot or Micronaut.
• Experience designing microservices and RESTful APIs with clean/hexagonal architecture.

Responsibilities

• Interface with product managers and architects to finalize requirements for identity, entitlement, authentication, and access-token services.
• Design, implement, and unit-test backend services (Java/Spring/Micronaut) and frontend components (Angular/TypeScript).
• Contribute to replatforming legacy services to Micronaut microservices on AWS using DevOps practices.
• Build and secure RESTful APIs and integrations across OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and MFA.
