Job summary

the company is hiring a hands-on senior engineer to work on correctness-critical, high-throughput IAM services. You’ll own surfaces end-to-end, tackle hard problems with high autonomy, and improve systems serving production traffic.

You will contribute to authentication and authorization systems design, APIs, and ensure reliability with strong code reviews and engineering discipline, while leveraging AI tools to enhance development workflows.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years building and operating production systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience implementing identity protocols or fine-grained authorization systems.
• Proficiency in Go and Typescript across a modern stack.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• PostgreSQL and Redis experience.
• Understanding of distributed systems and global state propagation.
• High standards for correctness and security; self-directed problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Feature development: high-throughput IAM capabilities for APIs.
• Design and evolution of authentication and authorization systems.
• Translate product and security requirements into robust APIs and specs.
• Maintain a high bar through code reviews and design docs.
• Ensure platform reliability under constant load and observability.
