Job summary

HealthVerity is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own the Identity and Access Management program, defining and evolving identity services for workforce and customer access across platforms.

You will manage AD, Okta, Auth0, AWS Cognito and related technologies, ensuring secure authentication, provisioning, and lifecycle management in a regulated healthcare environment. Hybrid work in Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Identity and Access Management or related fields.
• Expert-level Active Directory administration, architecture, and security.
• Hands-on with Auth0, AWS Cognito, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or similar.
• Strong experience with Okta environments.
• Deep understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos.
• Experience implementing SSO, MFA, CA, PAM.
• Knowledge of cloud identity and AWS security services.
• Experience supporting HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, FedRAMP or similar frameworks.
• Automation skills with Python, PowerShell, Terraform or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, engineering, and operation of HealthVerity's IAM platforms for workforce and customer environments.
• Design, implement, and support AD services and identity infrastructure.
• Build scalable identity architectures using AD, Okta, Auth0, AWS Cognito and related tech.
• Develop and maintain identity federation using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos.
• Manage workforce identity services including AD, Entra ID, and Okta.
• Support customer identity platforms including Auth0 and AWS Cognito.
• Develop IAM roadmap aligned to growth, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Create identity-focused security monitoring, alerting, and response playbooks.
• Assist in Zero Trust implementation and access governance.
• Partner with Security, IT, Engineering, Product, and Compliance on strategic initiatives.
