Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Atlas Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. You will design and deliver core IAM components, leading projects from specification to delivery and mentoring colleagues.

You will work on authentication (OAuth, SSO) and authorization (RBAC/ABAC), helping customers securely build apps on Atlas. Strong backend expertise and a passion for problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend technologies.
• Experience building identity and access management systems such as authentication (OAuth, SSO) and authorization (RBAC/ABAC) is a plus.
